If you are getting into 'Art/Oil-Painting' as a serious-'hobby',or 'career' ,my advice would be to start with these paints' and then move-on to a top-rated artist brand like "Windsor Newton","Holbein",etc..Your painting,for 'Archival-purposes',will 'fare' better,over the 'long-run' with a 'better paint',but for 'practice',these are very-good!Try these and get the best (brushes',thinner,mediums' and canvas) that your pocket can afford. The 'better-quality', Art-Products' will help you in your 'quest' to become an 'Artist',even if you never plan to get past 'novice/hobby' level! Hope this is of some help to you.'Good Luck'!
