Wood Finials
I use these every year as trophies for our family Parcheesi tournament. They are just about the same shape as a Parcheesi pawn, just much larger; perfect for my purposes. They take spray paint well, (red, blue, green, yellow) but do come out much better if you sand them a bit.

Just what I needed
I needed a top like this for the DIY wooden candle holder I made for an 8” pillar battery candle. After hot gluing it to finish off the top, and painting the entire holder brown with a top coat of dry brushing in white, I have a great accent piece. Thank you for carrying a great selection of wooden pieces.

Wooden Finial
Used this for a finial on top of a birdhouse and it looks perfect. I recommend a good sanding and perhaps primer if painting as it took several coats of spray paint to get even coverage.

Bad for staining
Stain does not take evenly. Also there are dents & other mars on the surface that don't absorb stain at all. When finished staining for the gift I was making I couldn't use them as they looked bad. Will have to start something else as these had to be thrown away!
