Step 1 |
First, click here for the design in Cricut® Design Space™. |
Step 2 |
Click 'Make It' in the upper right of your screen. Click ‘Continue' in the lower right of the next screen. |
Step 3 |
Select ‘Tooling Leather: 4 - 5 oz. [1.6 mm]; then place your material, face down, onto your cutting mat. Place masking tape around the perimeter of your leather on the mat for an extra secure hold. |
Step 4 |
Load the mat into your Cricut® machine, change the housing in clamp B to the deep blade; then follow the prompts in Design Space®. |
Step 5 |
Remove the leather and pieces from the mat. |
Step 6 |
Carefully open the loop at the bottom of a fishhook earring. Slide it through the top hole cut in one of the leather shapes. Close the loop. |
Step 7 |
Now, slide about 1¼” [3.2 cm] of turquoise heishi stones onto a headpin. |
Step 8 |
Make a simple loop at the top of your stones, then wrap excess wire around the vertical wire below the loop. |
Step 9 |
Use a jump ring to attach to the bottom hole cut along the top of the leather shape. |
Step 10 |
Repeat Steps 6-9 for a second earring. |
