Print Project

Step 1

Remove the lobster clasp from the top of the charm.
TIP: To open and close a jump ring, simply grasp the jump ring on both sides with chain nose pliers and twist the ring open, from side-to-side. Never pull the jump ring which can cause distortion.

Step 2

Cut six 12" [30.5 cm] of beading wire. Crimp the ends of two wires to the top ring on the charm. Crimp one wire on the first petal and one wire to the second petal on each side.

Step 3

String up the strands in order from left to right: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple.
TIP: Use a clip (or bead stopper) to hold the beads in place.

Step 4

Working on one side, string two size 6 seed beads over all three wires. Add a bead cone and a crimp tube. Snug everything up and crimp the crimp tube. Carefully, snip two of the wires from the top, leaving one.

Step 5

String on one size 6 seed bead, one crimp tube and a wire guardian (up one side and back down the other) and thread it through the loop of one side of the toggle clasp. Thread your wire back down through the crimp tube, then back through the size 6 seed bead. Gently squeeze the ends of the wire guardian together at the top of the crimp tube. Pull down on the wire to cinch up all of the extra space between the beads.

Step 6

Crimp the crimp tube and snip the end of the wire. Repeat with the three strands and the other half of the toggle clasp on the other side.
