mother's day tissue heart collage
This project is intended for kids ages 3+.
Step 1 |
Fold a piece of construction paper in half and draw a half of heart along the fold; then cut out the shape through both halves. Unfold to reveal your heart shape. |
Step 2 |
Repeat Step 1 three times to make four total hearts; however, with each heart, go down in size. |
Step 3 |
Glue only the fold of each heart to the middle of your canvas board so both sides of your hearts are not attached. |
Step 4 |
Use tissue paper squares to add texture around the hearts. To do so, wrap the square around an eraser on a pencil. Dip the end into glue and push the tissue square onto the surface of a heart. Repeat until your hearts are full, as shown. Let dry. |
