Print Project

Step 1

Measure and cut a 12"-14" [30.5 cm-35.6 cm] piece of clear transite cord. Fold it in half and slide the fold the loop at the bottom of the oval piece of the toggle set. Bring the ends up and around the loop on the toggle piece and slide through the loop of the fold. Pull tight to complete the lark’s head knot.
TIP: You will have two cords hanging below the lark’s head knot.

Step 2

Working on one cord, thread on about 5" [12.7 cm] of chip beads. Clip a bead bug onto the cord to hold the beads in place.

Step 3

Now, repeat Step 2 on the second cord. Clip another bead bug onto this cord to hold the beads in place.

Step 4

Cut a section from the chain that is about 3¼" [8.3 cm] long.

Step 5

Remove the bead bugs from the bead cords and tie them onto one end of the chain piece in a double knot. Add a dab of glue and let dry.

Step 6

Attach the other end of the chain to the loop on the bar piece of the toggle set with a jump ring.
TIP: To open and close a jump ring, simply grasp the jump ring on both sides with chain nose pliers and twist the ring open, from side-to-side. Never pull the jump ring which can cause distortion.

Step 7

Add charms as desired with either a new jump rings or the jump ring included with the charm.
