Mod Podge for puzzles
This Mod Podge was used to glue a 20" by 27" puzzle I put together so it could be framed and hung in my home. I used the whole bottle-two coats on each side of the puzzle. It looks good and I can't wait to have it framed. I applied it first lengthwise and then crosswise on each side of the puzzle. It is holding together very well and should look good in the frame with matting.

Worked like a charm
We used just one coat and it covered the puzzle with half the bottle left. We used a plastic scraper to pull the glue across without creating brush strokes. It dried smooth as glass.

Opaque, not a clear finish over puzzle!
You may as well use regular school glue. I was very disappointed with the quality of this puzzle glue. Luckily I tested a small area of my puzzle with this product and didnt ruin the entire thing by applying a blurry haze over my high quality, gorgeous, expensive piece. DOES NOT DRY CLEAR. Maybe only useful for applying to back of puzzle but I'm not risking my puzzle with this mess anymore.

1 bottle coats at least 4-1500 piece puzzles IF you put them into frames. I didn't see a puzzle "yield" on the bottle.

Mod Podge is a great product
This product worked beautifully to seal together the puzzle pieces so it could be put into a poster frame. It dries quickly. I used two coats on top of the puzzle and only one coat in back. The puzzles was 1,000 pieces, but the paste kept it together securely. Very impressive!

Covered puzzles well. Application: Put the puzzle on wax paper, applied 2 coats to the front and back (flipping between applications) using a black foam brush. It dried quickly between applications and left a clear finish.

Too thick for puzzle glue
This stuff is too thick. No matter what I used, I couldn't get a flat finish. Half my puzzle has brush strokes because that's all I could use to spread it out. I've used other puzzle glue before that was much more fluid and it turned out great. This stuff, not so much. I ended up having to do multiple layers to get a good finish.

Stay away from this glue it will ruin the finish on the front of your puzzle.

I don’t recommend
I have used Mod Podge for puzzles before and love it. I saw this one specifically for puzzles and purchased it. Horrible stuff. It is too thick, didn’t spread well, left streaks, just a hot mess. Ruined my puzzle and wish I had never touched it. Use just the regular instead.
