mod podge® planters
Step 1 |
First, basecoat the pot in the wooden stand planter using Cottage White chalk paint. Allow to dry. |
Step 2 |
Use a decoupage brush to spread an even coat of gloss Mod Podge® onto the entire surface of the pot. |
Step 3 |
Cut and place watercolour floral paper around planter and press down. Allow time for the Mod Podge® to begin to set and apply another coat on top of the entire pot. Allow to dry. |
Step 4 |
Apply Mod Podge® gloss to wooden planter stand until desired sheen is acquired. Set aside to dry. |
Step 5 |
Next, decorate the Indigo Vines ceramic pot. Basecoat the pot Cascade chalk paint. Allow to dry. |
Step 6 |
Repeat Step 2. |
Step 7 |
Cut and place Pink and Gold drops paper around planter and press down. Allow time for the Mod Podge® to begin to set and apply another coat on top of the entire pot. Allow to dry. |
Step 8 |
Next, decorate glass bowl with metal stand. Basecoat planter Cottage with White chalk paint. Allow to dry. |
Step 9 |
Again, Repeat Step 2. |
Step 10 |
Cut and place watercolour multi-dots paper around planter and press down. Allow time for the Mod Podge® to begin to set and apply another coat on top of the entire pot. Allow to dry. |
Step 11 |
Then, move on to decorate the floral tray set. Use a decoupage brush to spread an even coat of gloss Mod Podge® onto the entire surface of the pot. |
Step 12 |
Cut and place black pinstripes paper and black and white spots paper around planter and press down. Allow time for the Mod Podge® to begin to set and apply another coat on top of the entire pot. Allow to dry. |
Step 13 |
Finally, decorate the plastic Mason jars. Basecoat the Mason jar with Spanish Moss chalk paint. Allow to dry. |
Step 14 |
Repeat Step 2 to get an even coat. |

Cut and place black and white spots paper around planter and press down. Allow time for the Mod Podge® to begin to set and apply another coat on top of the entire pot. Allow to dry. |
