Dark Shimmer

Did not like this item very much
Theese paints have low pigment, you pretty much need to lay it down in layers. Many layers to see the color for what it is.

Good for after the painting is complete
The colors do not bleed as well as my regular watercolor paints. I have been using them either mixed with my nonmetallic colors, or as additional color on top of my painting. The colors, however, are very nice and I like how they make my paintings shimmer.

Good in small areas
These metallic watercolors worked well for what I wanted, which was accents on Christmas cards. I would not use these colors in large areas as they are thick and do not behave like traditional watercolors but are good as accents or in small areas. The white is nice to create a clear glittery area.

Cute, simple and just for fun.
It's cute glitter/shimmer effect but not great in blending. But I mean it's 6 dollars so I expected that much. I will Def use the white for snow effect on my good quality watercolor and hope it works okay with it. The gold is nice! Also the gray is very opaque. The red is more pink/red, great for sunrise. I tried wet on wet and no good. Otherwise it does okay for fun art work not for professionals. No smell to it, some paint is thick and glue like. I'm happy for fun art effects.

Love the Colors but Hate the Packaging
I actually had to return this because on my first usage of it the lid broke on 2 of the colors. In fact, I found that it's impossible to screw the lids on securely without breaking them (and no, I was not over-tightening, just making sure they were secure). It's not a good value or environmentally responsible if you only get a single usage per tube.
I took them back and exchanged them for a brand new set, and even when I was trying extra hard to be careful about not over-tightening the lids I was still unable to secure one of them without the lid breaking, so I think my silver will likely dry out before I use them again. That makes me sad because the silver color is pretty cool.
That said, I did use up the paint that I squirted into the palette well and I did really like the metallic colors. They were so much fun to experiment with on my black multimedia paper and I loved the final result of my painting.
Fix the packaging and you've got a winner!

Good sparkle in this paint
True, a couple of the paints had separated, but a quick stir in the tube with a thin skewer put them in order, making them less runny or gooey than before. These paints are more pearl than truly metallic, but they give wonderful depth and shape effects to water and sky and reflected sunlight. The white, used straight out of the tube with no dilution, is great for celestial bodies, like sun and moon.

Totally awful
Multiple paints were separated when I tried to use them, some kind of clear goo coming out of the tube with just a vague shimmer. Pass on these.

Metallic paint
Only one coat of the white was needed to make it look like snow. There are a lot of metallic flakes in the paint. It was a good choice for my project.
