Step 1 |
Pour metallic paint on a piece of palette paper. Use a palette knife to pick up some of the paint and spread it across the canvas. Mix metallics by dragging the paint over the canvas. |

To make the palm trees, use a palette knife to add paint for the trunk. |
Step 3 |
Paint the palms on top with a paintbrush. Make a curve and pull the paint down to create a feathered look. Continue to build up the paint on the palms. |
Step 4 |
To add the illusion of coconuts, dip the back of your paintbrush in the paint and drop it on the palms close to the truck top. Build up the paint until you like the accent. |
Step 5 |
Finish by adding a few accents to the shore, horizon line and sides of the canvas. |
