Step 2 |
Cut out shapes from faux leather. |
Step 3 |
Punch a hole in each corner at the top of each shape. |
Step 4 |
Measure and cut 10" [25.4 cm] from wire. |
Step 5 |
Use your round nose pliers to create a loop about 2" [5.1 cm] from one end of the wire. Wrap excess wire around the wire below the loop two (or three) times then trim excess wire. |
Step 6 |
Thread three of the smallest beads onto the wire. |
Step 7 |
Thread the wire through the punched holes at the top of one of the smallest leather shapes. |
Step 8 |
Add the next larger size bead to the wire and then next larger size leather shape. |
Step 9 |
Repeat Step 8 in ascending order until you get to the largest; then repeat in descending order so each side mirrors the other. |
Step 10 |
Add three of the smallest beads to the wire and make a loop in the wire. Wrap wire around itself about two (or three) times then trim excess wire. |
Step 11 |
Gently shape the wire into a curve. |
Step 12 |
Cut two 7" [17.8 cm] pieces of chain and attach one to each loop of the wire with jump rings. |
Step 13 |
Add a jump ring to the other end of a chain piece and a jump ring with a clasp to the other. Share your project photos with #MakeItWithMichaels |
