meet me under the mistletoe hoodie
Use already created fabulous designs in Michaels digital design library, found here, to make your holiday-wear this year!
Step 1 |
First, click here for the digital design library on michaels.com. |
Step 2 |
Download the design you would like to use for your hoodie. |
Step 3 |
Upload the designs into your cutting machine’s software. |
Step 4 |
Use the offset tool in the tool bar to create two borders around your chosen design. |
Step 5 |
Slice out ‘Meet Me’ from the white border to allow the red to show through from the bottom layer and then ‘Mistletoe’ from both borders to allow the green from your hoodie show through your design. |
Step 6 |
Now, cut your design from various red, black and white Heat Transfer Vinyls (HTV). |
Step 7 |
Next, use scissors to cut the design from each HTV roll. Use your weeder tool to remove all the excess material around and inside your design so you are left with just the reversed design on the clear plastic carrier sheets, which are slightly sticky. |
Step 8 |
See instructions included with your heat press to attach your design to your hoodie. |
Step 9 |
If your material is the warm peel type, you may go ahead and peel off the carrier sheet. If your material is a cool peel type, let it cool completely before removing the carrier sheet. |
