Does nothing
I might as well be using a white colored pencil, the lines were almost invisible even in black fabric and with a lot of pressure

Use a different fabric pencil
I got this to mark black aida(100% cotton) for gridding mostly.
First, it takes several passes to see the marks on the fabric, and this pencil wears down incredibly fast so that sharp point you need is gone in one line.
Second, the marks faded with use, don't ask me how but they would get lighter yet not completely disappear making me have to redraw the lines to see them easily.
Third, when I was finished with my project and it came time to wash, the faded lines wouldn't actually was out! I had to wash my finished piece 3 times to completely remove the lines! I washed with cold soapy water, warm soapy water and soaked it for 15 minutes and i swear I can still see some of the lines if I look close enough.
I very much DO NOT recommend this product and you're much better off using practically anything else.

Never again will I buy this product!
I traced overt lines 5 times and still couldn’t see the white, even on dark colors! Terrible waste of money.

Can't see
It doesn't show up very well on any other fabric color except black. Its very hard even then to get a line around. When you are trying to make a mark at the length you need you have to take 5 minutes to find the mark you made 2 seconds ago. Not recommended
