MEASUREMENT: Length from Nose to Tail = 16" [40.64 cm] and Height = 10" [25.4 cm]
GAUGE: Rows 1-4 = 4" [10.16 cm]; save time and check your gauge
SPECIAL STITCHES:
- Magic Ring: Wrap yarn around your left index and middle finger twice, leaving a 6" (15.24 cm) tail. Insert hook under both strands and pull up a loop. Ch 1, and beg working directly into centre of ring. This ring can be tightened later by pulling on the yarn tail.
NOTES:
The pieces are worked in a spiral. Do not join at the end of rounds. Use a removable stitch marker to mark the first st of the round, and move the marker up with each subsequent round.

INSTRUCTIONS:
Body
With with Magic Ring.
Rnd 1 (RS): 6sc in ring – 6 sc.
Rnd 2: 2sc in each sc around – 12 sc.
Rnd 3: *2sc in sc, sc in next sc; rep from * around – 18 sc.
Rnd 4: Sc in 1st sc, *2sc in next sc; sc in each of next 2 sc; rep from * to last sc, sc in sc – 24 sc.
Rnd 5: *2sc in 1st sc, sc in each of next 3 sc; rep from * around – 30 sc.
Rnd 6: Sc in each of next 2 sc, *2sc in next sc; sc in each of next 4 sc; rep from * to last 2 sc, sc in each of next 2 sc – 36 sc.
Rnd 7: *2sc in 1st sc, sc in each of next 5 sc; rep from * around – 42 sc.
Rnd 8: Sc in each of next 3 sc, *2sc in next sc; sc in each of next 6 sc; rep from * to last 3 sc, sc in each of next 3 sc – 48 sc.
Rnd 9: *2sc in 1st sc, sc in each of next 7 sc; rep from * around – 54 sc.
Rnd 10: Sc in each of next 4 sc, *2sc in next sc; sc in each of next 8 sc; rep from * to last 4 sc, sc in each of next 3 sc – 60 sc.
Rnds 11-14: Sc in each sc around.
Rnd 15: Sc in each of next 4 sc, *Sc2tog over next 2 sc; sc in each of next 8 sc; rep from * to last 4 sc, sc in each of next 3 sc – 54 sc.
Rnd 16: *Sc2tog over next 2 sc, sc in each of next 7 sc; rep from * around – 48 sc.
Rnd 17: Sc in each of next 3 sc, * Sc2tog over next 2 sc; sc in each of next 6 sc; rep from * to last 3 sc, sc in each of next 3 sc – 42 sc.
Rnd 18: *Sc2tog over next 2 sc, sc in each of next 5 sc; rep from * around – 36 sc.
Note: Begin stuffing Body with Fibre Fill and continue filling as you decrease.
Rnd 19: Sc in each of next 2 sc, *Sc2tog over next 2 sc sc; sc in each of next 4 sc; rep from * to last 2 sc, sc in each of next 3 sc – 30 sc.
Rnd 20: *Sc2tog over next 2 sc, sc in each of next 3 sc; rep from * around – 24 sc.
Rnd 21: Sc in next sc, *Sc2tog over next 2 sc; sc in each of next 2 sc; rep from * to last sc, sc in next sc – 18 sc.
Rnd 22: *Sc2tog over next 2 sc, sc in next sc; rep from * around – 12 sc.
Rnd 23: Sc2tog over next 2 sc; rep from * around – 6 sc.
Fasten off leaving long tail.
Thread tail through tapestry needle and draw through each remaining st.
Pull to close.
Fasten off end.
Tail and Feet (Make 1 in MC for Tail and 4 in CC for Feet)
Make Magic Ring.
Rnd 1 (RS): 6sc in ring – 6 sc.
Rnd 2: 2sc in each sc around – 12 sc.
Rnds 3-5: Sc in each sc around. Fasten off.
Head
With CC, make Magic Ring.
Rnd 1 (RS): Sc in ring, pm in sc just worked, 3 sc in ring, pm in a constrasting colour in sc just worked, 2sc in ring – 6 sc.
Rnds 2-4: 2sc in 1st sc, move marker to first sc of 2-sc set, sc to next marker, 2sc in next sc, moving marker to 1st sc of 2-sc set – 12 sc.
Cut CC, join MC.
Rnds 5-6: Sc in each sc around.
Rnds 7-8: 2sc in each sc around – 3 sc.
Thread tail through tapestry needle and draw through each remaining st.
Pull to close.
Fasten off end.
Ears
With CC, ch 3.
Row 1 (RS): Sc in 2nd ch from hk, sc in next ch, turn – 2 sc.
Rows 2-4: Ch 1, sc in each sc, turn.
Row 5: Ch 1, sc2tog over next 2 sc – 1 sc.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
Using waste yarn in coordinating colour, stuff feet and sew to body. Repeat for tail.
Sew ears to head. Sew mouth and eyes on head using photo as a guide or as desired.
Sew head to body. Secure any loose ends using a drop of fray check. Weave in ends.
