Loops & Threads® Knit Quick™ Sock Loom is rated 2.4 out of 5 by 45.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality All Around I would have given this 0/5 stars if that was an option. I was super excited to get this loom as I wanted to make all my own socks. The hook tool only partially worked after bending it with pliers into a more curved shape, but then the metal of the hook came out of the green handle. On my second sock, one of the pegs on the corner broke off. It’s now useless as that peg is used for every sized sock. The peg numbers are in reverse order. The loom itself is heavy and my hands fit tired on holding it. When knitting on the pegs where the adjustable bit is, It was difficult to get any tool or hook in there. I finally resorted to using a 3.00mm crochet hook to finish the socks. The instructions should give a basic overview that even a beginner can succeed. I had to spend far too long with youtube tutorials to figure out how to even cast on. The only thing that was good about the product is the carrying case, which I use to keep my darning needles, tape measure, scissors and hooks in high up where my toddler can’t hurt herself. My thrifted looms have worked out so much better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from hard to understand not good when you have painful hands. instructions is lacking. Ended up throwing it in the closet

Rated 1 out of 5 by from very hard to get yarn on and off loom using the hook provided it is very hard to get under the yarn and loop over, it needs more room on the peg for picking up the yarn

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Instructions The instructions would be much easier to follow if they were in colour instead of black and white. Hard to follow because of that. Also pick is difficult to grab yarn and lift over.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Patience and learning will get you success As you can tell by other reviews, a loom is not for everyone but that is not an indication of this loom and how well it works. If you have never used a sock loom and expect to just pick it up, throw on some heavy weight fluffy yarn, and magically produce a sock, like you do a hoop loom stop and watch a few online videos how to's first. Learning, patience, and following directions are required. It is not like that big plastic knob hoop looms. The technique is different as is the tension. If you are thinking about sock looming I would recommend watching a few How-To Videos and see just what you are going to be doing. The right weight yarn is a must in order to get a good result. The weave is very tight and you have to watch your tension and keep it a bit loose. If you keep threads too tight is very hard to work with. If you have the patience and are willing to learn this is a fine loom. The instruction sheet is probably correct but for a beginner, I think it is difficult to follow, easier if you are already a knitter. I watched several online knitters work with looms like this and found there can be more than one technique for binding off, turning a heel/toe, and looping. Watching others was a big help. At first, it seemed to take forever to work with but after my first time thru I ripped it all and started again and it seemed to go by very quickly. I was surprised by how much I could do just watching TV with my wife.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard to make it work well I wanted to try this but have gone back to knitting. Loom has good construction but I found it difficult to use. Takes much longer to make a row than knitting. Tool not quite sharp enough

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Patience is good in learning this loom I can understand why some might get frustrated, the hook isn't sharp enough to get under yarn to lift up easily. I bought a dental pick from the dollar store, and volia! So much easier and fun.
