Step 1

Ch 4. Sl st in first ch to join to create loop.
Rnd 1 Ch 3. Dc 11 times inside loop. Join at the top of the first ch. (12 Sts)
NOTE: Ch 3 counts as first dc here and throughout pattern.
Rnd 2 Ch 3. Dc in same st. Make two dc in each st around. Join at the top of the first ch. (24 Sts)
Rnd 3 Ch 3. *Dc 2 in next st. Dc 1 in next.* Repeat from * to * around, then join at the top of the first ch. (36Sts)
Rnd 4 Ch 3 and turn. In back loop only, dc in next st and in each st around. Join at the top of the first ch. (36 Sts)
Rnd 5-6 Ch 3. In both loops, dc in each st around. Join at the top of the first ch. (36 Sts)
Ch 10. Sk 6 sts, sl st into 7th st to rejoin to basket.
Sl st 11 times around.
Ch 10. Sk 6 sts, sl st into 7th st to rejoin to basket.
Sl st 11 times around.
Fasten off. Tuck in all ends.
