I reinforce the borders a few millimeters in, with a backstitch in a coordinating color thread, and they last years. I only wish they had two-packs of every color instead of just this and a variety pack; I chose to get a slightly different blue from my jeans than spend more money on two variety packs to get the dark blue I wanted and have leftovers.

So when two pairs of my favorite jeans wore through I headed to Michael's, my go to place for art and sewing supplies. I have tried other patches from other stores but they were unsatisfactory. So I tried the Loops and Threads Denim Patches and they are the absolute best. I highly recommend them.

Had no idea he had snuck into Michaels while I was buying more yarn [ ssh. Had to get some super Patons Kroy Sock yarn before it was gone] When I asked he admitted that these were the second ones he has bought. I'm not such a good wife at mending, but he is doing just fine thanks to "Loops& Threads Denim Patches.
