I decided to make home-made ornaments this year to give us Christmas presents, and because of that I ended up buying so many amazingly beautiful sequins and the pins to hold them in the Styrofoam balls. I liked them so well because of the way they catch the light that I made some extras to dress up the gifts.
It was an amazing idea and I’ll do it again.

These pins are perfectly helpful
These are perfect for holding sequins in place. With glue, sequins can shift around ruining the desihn; with these pins, the sequins stay right where I put them

Very merry Christmas balls
I bought these pins to do Christmas ornaments . You fold fabric and pin it on styrofoam balls . The end result looks as if you quilted them. The pins are excellent for this purpose. Smaller pins come out to easily.

Poor quality. Like other commenters have mentioned, there’s a large number of these pins in the package that are duds, as their heads are too small for their own brand’s sequins. I was wondering why I had so many falling off of my project… lol. I thought it was something I was doing wrong. I’ll have to find a new brand.

These are terrible, the heads are too small to use with the Creatology sequins from Michaels...back to the dollar store maybe their sequins will have smaller holes.

This pin isn't thick enough to hold well.
This is not a pin I would recommend for many uses. It might be ok if holding something light weight but for better hold I suggest a regular pun that y cut to your own lengths.

Pins not pointy on end
I purchased these pins to be used for making quilted Easter eggs. I found that the majority of them either had a blunt pin tip or it was not pointy enough to poke through the fabric into the styrofoam egg. I also found them two small to handle. Applique pins from other stores are longer. I will not buy again.

Disappointed
I use a lot of these pins and they used to work great. But the last few batches have been really dull. Many of the pins have no points at all, just flat on the end. What happened? The price went up, with significantly lower quality.

Poor quality
The size of the pin heads is extremely variable, and at least 10% were so small that they fit threw the sequin hole, making them unuseable. Definitely would not purchase again. A waste of money.
