Excellent Product
Clear gesso is not meant to be used like regular gesso. It dries clear and contains a textured element such as sand though also clear. It isn't meant to be layered or applied thickly. I use clear gesso to give tooth to acrylic paintings so I can apply other media such as colored pencils on top, or to prep unsanded paper to use as sanded paper for soft pastels. If you are looking for gesso to prime pages or canvases for regular paint use, use regular gesso. Apply clear gesso in a light coat. The gesso is liquid so it will be easier to apply than a thick white gesso.

Not quite as clear as I'd hoped.
It works well enough for a primer for a canvas and for acrylic paint. It does dry clear but if there it is painted to thick it does not dry clear.
