Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fine entry level paint These paints are fine entry level paints. Some colours turn out rather dull but considering the prices they are a good way to practice. Once you try better quality though I wouldn't suggest ever downgrading to these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This paint is excellent I have used this paint for murals and student paintings. I find it blends well and has a thick consistency very similar to my professional acrylics. I have tried other student paint and they don't come close to the quality of the Basics.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product is TERRIBLE I bought the Liquitex Basics acrylic paints for use on canvases for art projects. Not only did the colors come out sloppily but half of them had separated in the tube (so just clear liquid would come out) even after being shaken up. Unfortunately, these were the only acrylics I had and I couldn't afford to buy more. The end result: I had to use acrylic paints for crafts and throw out these paints (which I spend roughly $20 on 5 tubes). I will NEVER buy this brand again.
