Create this beautiful gift box with Liquid Sculpey® clay for a dear one.

Print Project

Step 1

Please make sure your work area is covered with wax paper (metal baking sheet or disposable foil) and you are not working on an unprotected surface.

Step 2

Stir Liquid Sculpey® clay completely. Thin with liquid clay softener as needed.
TIP: Wash hands after use with soap and water or baby wipes.

Step 3

Fill the mandala mould with liquid clay in Garnet Metallic. Remove as much of the excess liquid clay as you can, using the little squeegee provided.

Step 4

Bake for 10 minutes at 275 ºF [130 ºC].
- It is important to use oven thermometer when you bake the liquids so that you can ensure your oven is at the correct temperature.
- Do not microwave the liquids. They must be baked in a preheated oven at 275 ºF (130 ºC) for liquid colours and 300 ºF [149 ºC] for clear. Do not exceed baking temperatures.
- If your piece is less than ¼" [0.6 cm] bake for 15 minutes. For thicker pieces that are ¼" [0.6 cm] or above bake for 30 minutes.
TIP: Do all the shapes in the mould because it takes so little liquid clay and you can use them later.

Step 5

Remove mandala shapes from the mould.

Step 6

Apply glue, sparingly, to the areas where you want to place your mandalas on the kraft box. Press the mandalas onto the glue and allow to dry.

Step 7

Cut preferred length of ribbon and add a bow around the package.
