Make sure your work area is covered and you are not working on an unprotected surface.
TIP: Work on a metal baking sheet (wax paper or foil). Uncured liquid clay may damage unprotected furniture or finished surfaces. Stir liquid clay completely. Thin with clay softener as needed. Wash hands after use or have baby wipes handy.

Now, drop areas of each liquid clay into the large heart shape in the mold.
TIP: A very organized pattern was used for adding liquid clay to the heart shape mold.

Use the needle tool to gently drag the liquid clay into each other. Dip the tip of the needle tool all the way to the bottom of the mold and drag it through the all of the clay in the mold cavity. Don’t lift the tip from the liquid until you are completely done swirling through the clay.

Repeat Steps 2 and 3 to fill and swirl the two smaller heart shapes for the earrings.

• It is important to use oven thermometer when you bake the liquids so that you can ensure your oven is at the correct temperature.
• Do not microwave the liquids. They must be baked in a preheated oven at 275 ºF (130 ºC) for liquid colors and 300 ºF (149 ºC) for clear. Do not exceed baking temperatures.
• If your piece is less than ¼" [.6 cm], bake for 15 minutes. For thicker pieces that are ¼" [.6 cm] or above, bake for 30 minutes.

Use the flat nose pliers to add the large jump ring to the hole in each heart. For the necklace, you can simply string the chain through the jump ring or keep the jump ring open, hooking it to the chain, and then close it with the pliers. For the earrings, add the little jump ring to each of the large jump rings. Then add the ear wire to the small jump ring with pliers.
