You're new to the skills necessary to complete this project, or maybe you've tried them just once or twice before.

Putting together a simple costume can still make a big roar! Creating a character or animal doesn't always have to be so literal. A simple t-shirt design paired with a mask makes it easier to decide on last minute and still have something to wear to a costume party!

Print Project

Step 1

First, click here for the template; print and cut out the pieces.

Step 2

Trace the pattern pieces onto felt with a marker and cut out.

Step 3

Attach the felt to the mask using Tacky Glue™. Layer the felt piece from the bottom of the mask and work your way to the top of the mask. Let dry.
TIP: Hold the pieces for a few seconds to let the glue to bond.

Step 4

Attach the darker brown that resembles the lions mane to the back of the mask so it can be seen from the front. Let dry.

Step 5

Finish with small details like the dark felt strip around the eye. Let dry.
