Step 4 |
To make rosette flowers, cut a circle out of cardstock, then cut a spiral into the circle. Now, take the end of the spiral and roll it into the middle. Let the paper unroll a bit to loosen the rosette. Use hot glue to secure the rosette to the circle at the end of the spiral. |
Step 5 |
To make a fringe flower, simply cut fringe all along the strip, stopping about ¼" [0.64 cm] from the edge. Now, roll the flower. Add additional fringed strips to increase the size of the flower. Fluff the fringe when you're finished. |
Step 6 |
To make the various types of teardrops, take a paper strip and adhere the two ends to one another. Shape the teardrop as needed. To adhere these to the base, carefully line the bottom edge with hot glue and quickly but gently press it onto the base. |
