Made with archival-quality, 100% cotton, this canvas is gesso primed so that you can start painting immediately. The medium/smooth texture surface is perfect for use with acrylic and oil paints, and the frame is professionally constructed. The medium-weight cotton duck is stretched around 3/4" profile kiln-dried stretcher bars and held in place with a flexible spline, so artists can paint on all four edges.

Great but not perfect
The weight of the canvas is nice but I wish it weren't finished in the back. I like to see the staples and have wedges in case the canvas needs to be stretched further. I have to wet the canvas with water on the back side to remove wrinkles.

Perfectly useful canvas.
The canvas holds a thin wash of ground paint without buckling. The stretcher bars are not too hard so fastening hardware is easy (using a drill).
Fits into a frame well.
