Made with archival-quality, 100% cotton, this canvas is gesso primed so that you can start painting immediately. The medium/smooth texture surface is perfect for use with acrylic and oil paints, and the frame is professionally constructed. The medium-weight cotton duck is stretched around 3/4" profile kiln-dried stretcher bars and held in place with a flexible spline, so artists can paint on all four edges.

Terrific canvas for amateur or professional.
Great quality canvas for acrylic or oils. Allows for painting around the edges. Although I usually visually select the canvas to be sure it is stretched tightly, I have never had an issue with this brand.

My favorite art store-better than a candy store
I love shopping at Michael's because they have a great selection to choose from. I am an artist and I buy all art supplies from this store plus I have all my framing done at Michael's. First time trying the level 2 because
I needed a thinner frame..It’s noticeably lighter material and had a tendency to buckle in the corners ..
