These are my favorite canvas. I use this size for most of my pieces. They’re excellent for a short session or lesson. You can putz around on it and still feel accomplished. They’re a lovely and quaint size if you enjoy painting but don’t really sell or have space to store. I haven’t tried sanding them yet, though I think it might work very nicely with these.

Found a Canvas that Spoke
I needed a canvas that "said" something by its shape, and found the perfect item at Michael's. Not for the first time, when perusing the aisles at Michael's I discovered treasure. I like to do mixed medium projects. For this one I combined tulle and form clay. I was very happy with the end result. The canvas held up wonderfully. And of course I used paint from my local Michaels.
