Worth Every Penny!
It must 40 years since I did any embroidery but this pretty and inexpensive kit seemed perfect to start again. Easy to follow instructions and more than enough floss to complete the project. Tip: I used 4 strands of floss instead of recommended 6 as it was hard to thread the needle provided (I had to buy needle threader for first time ever!!) but the results were fine.

Great starter kit
I decided to give embroidery a try and this was a good introduction, with fairly clear instructions and images. My only complaints are that the orange thread I received was a much lighter shade than is shown in the pictures, so the french knots in the pink flowers didn't show up as well. There was also no instructions for the "banding" (for lack of a technical term) toward the bottom of the pink flowers, and no instructions on how to do a "staggered backstitch". I figured it out but a little clearer direction would have helped. All in all, I like it!

Basic beginner
Also bought as a beginner-the directions were not as clear for newbies and some of the overlaying stitching parts of the flowers were a little challenging.
