Step 1 |
On the bottom of an apothecary jar, layer in rock, sand and sea glass pieces. Start with the smallest (sand) and make a full layer on the very bottom approximately 2"-3" [5.1 cm - 7.6 cm] thick. Then add the next smallest rock as a layer, trying to make it the same thickness. |
Step 2 |
Next add the sea glass layer to look like water, again trying to make the thickness close to the other layers. |
Step 3 |
Add a layer of black river rocks on top of the sea glass rocks. |
Step 4 |
Using various moss, create a layer on top of the river rocks. |
Step 5 |
Add greenery to the top by pushing the stems in between the moss and into the rock layers to secure them in place. |
