Sturdy cardboard box that is beautiful
As long as you’re not expected a painted wood box, this is a great find. They are definitely a very sturdy cardboard like all of Micheals decorative boxes. I have used these in my boutique store for storage for the last couple and they hold a lot and lock down nicely. This new design (and new size to me) is a beautiful addition. The trunk design lets me fit more in than expected. I do like the metal closure piece that locks like an old fashioned trunk. The design is beautiful.

Incredibly cheap
I know it says Faux wooden, but I guess I was expecting something more than cardboard and a sticker. The lid and base done even meet because the bottom box is bent inwards and the lid is bent outwards. The latch pulls them together, but there is a gap. The corner of the lid is already torn, and the paper sticker is peeling away. I will definitely be returning this. Was not even worth the sale price I paid for it. I am so disappointed because it looked beautiful in the picture.
