Absolutely trash
Got this for Christmas. Watched 6 different tutorials to cast on and do a hat or even a scarf. Keeps dropping stitches. Watch several more videos on preventing stitch dropping and tried it. STILL DROPPING STITCHES. I crochet and knit hats and scarves for the homeless and family/friends. My husband got it for ne as a Christmas gift as i thought this would help built these items quicker. WELL IT DOESN'T!!!!! Absolutely do not buy it and won't recommend this product at all. Extremely mad.

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, PLEASE, I'M BEGGING YOU!!!
Sooooo, my husband got this for me less than a month ago and I've used it succesfully 3-5 times. It was completely fine after a bit of a learning curve (it drops stitches, but I believe most CKMs do and this is a fairly inexpensuve one so I kind of expected this to be an issue and was careful about watching for and correcting it). I got about a third of the way into a project, the handle stopped turning and completely snapped off after making a horrific clicking noise and refusing to turn either direction. The yarn was fine and I was using it exactly the way I have all other times when I had no issues. I'm now out over $100, the cost of the yarn for my project (which supposed to be my sister's birthday gift), and am in tears because I can't finish it and can't afford a new one right now. Michael's return policy also will not allow to me return the product even though I was using it exactly as initended, and followed the directions in the manual. Thanks a lot Michael's, I'll be actively avoiding any product like this from your business.

Not happy
I gave this to my sister as a gift. She tried 40 times to make a toque and it kept missing a hook or drop a stitch. She will return it and try the next model up hoping it will work better.

Awesome product
This was amazing I can kick out a hat in under 30 minutes with this! I would love a larger version for bigger projects like sweaters, but this thing is amazing and efficient!
