Step 2 |
Trace and cut out the curved rainbow patterns and use a glue stick to attach in order from largest to smallest (as marked on the template): red (1), orange (2), yellow (3), green (4), blue (5) and purple (6). |
Step 3 |
Trace and cut out two clouds from white construction paper. |
Step 4 |
Use a glue stick to attach the clouds to the ends of the rainbow. |
Step 5 |
Trace and cut out eight raindrops from the same colours you used for the rainbow. |
Step 6 |
Using a marker, write words of kindness (or positive characteristics) onto the raindrops. |
Step 7 |
Cut six strands of yarn to hang from the rainbow in varying lengths. |
Step 8 |
Use clear tape to attach the droplets to the strands of yarn. Make sure they are all facing forward and tape yarn to the back of the droplet. |
Step 9 |
Attach the strands of yarn to the back of the rainbow, using tape, and then turn the rainbow back to the front side. |
Step 10 |
To complete the rainbow, outline the clouds with glue and shake glitter on top. Shake excess glitter onto a piece of scrap paper and put back in the glitter jar. Let dry. |
