If you love tie dye, then this Kids Two Minute Tie-Dye T-Shirt is for you! With the help of an adult (and a microwave), it is much easier than you think!

Print Project

Step 1

Wash your t-shirt prior to dying for best results.

Step 2

Lay your t-shirt out flat on your working surface. Grasp the shirt where you want the spiral to begin for the design and spin it until you have your shirt wrapped around the starting point. Hold the shape with rubber bands.

Step 3

Mix and apply the dye according directions included with the tie-dye kit.
TIP: Tie-dye is very messy and can permanently dye clothes and/or surfaces. Cover all surfaces with a plastic drop cloth and wear old clothes.

Step 4

ADULT: Follow the directions on the packaging to microwave the t-shirt.
TIP: Be sure to let cool before handling.

Step 5

Rinse the t-shirt according to the directions, then wash and dry.
