Step 1 |
Wrap the outside of a small shoebox with red construction paper and glue into place. Set aside. |
Step 2 |
Using the regular and mini craft sticks, make fence sections. Lay out two regular craft sticks horizontally, parallel to one another. Now place five mini sticks vertically across them, spacing evenly. Glue the mini sticks onto the horizontal craft sticks. Make as many fence sections as needed. Let dry. |
Step 3 |
To make a gate, lay two mini craft sticks vertically and make an "X" with two more gluing the ends of the "X" to the vertical sticks. Let dry. |
Step 4 |
Make the front of your barn using regular craft sticks. Combine regular and mini craft sticks to build your barn front and also for securing the sticks from behind. Once everything is glued into place, set it aside to let dry. |
Step 5 |
Paint your barn red, add white accents and let dry. |
Step 6 |
Adhere the shoebox to the foam board base, then glue the textured brown foam to resemble dirt and the green foam for grass (or crops) to the base where desired. |
Step 7 |
Glue pom-poms onto the green foam for your crops. |
Step 8 |
Add your farm animals! |
