Step 1 |
Arrange your box and box lid as desired for your diorama. |
Step 2 |
Use a glue stick to attach construction paper around the box until it is covered. |
Step 3 |
Measure the inside of the box and then measure and cut mixed media paper to fit. |
Step 4 |
Paint a background of mountains and trees onto the paper. Let dry. |
Step 5 |
Adhere the background to the inside of the box. |
Step 6 |
If you want a stream or river, paint one onto the base of the diorama. Let dry. |
Step 7 |
Arrange Kinetic Sand® over the base of the diorama. |
Step 8 |
To make a volcano, take some aluminum foil and form it into a cone shape. Cover the cone shape with brown Model Magic®. |
Step 9 |
Add lava to the volcano by squeezing orange and red glitter glue from the top and down the sides. Let dry. |
Step 10 |
Make additional rock features by shaping the extra Model Magic®. |
Step 11 |
Add trees to the base by clearing away some of the sand and gluing them to the base. Let dry. |
Step 12 |
Add dinosaurs to your scene. |
