Step 2 |
On a white paper plate, draw lines across the plate dividing it like a pie. |
Step 3 |
Paint the wedges alternating red and white. Let dry. |
Step 4 |
Beginning at the outer edge of the plate, cut into the plate in a spiral, ending in the middle, rotating the plate as you cut to make your whirler. |
Step 5 |
ADULT: Holding the middle of the plate, punch a hole, thread yarn through the hole and tie a knot. |
Step 6 |
Trace your template onto construction paper. Cut out the shape. |
Step 7 |
ADULT: Punch a hole in the top and bottom of the shape. |
Step 8 |
Attach the whirler to the bottom of the shape. Thread some yarn through the top hole, loop and tie to make a hanger. |
