You're new to the skills necessary to complete this project, or maybe you've tried them just once or twice before.

kids looking ahead binoculars

This project is intended for kids ages 3+.
Step 1

Wrap two recycled paper tubes with construction paper and adhere it with a glue stick.

Step 2

Trim off the extra paper, then add additional layers of construction paper if you'd like to further decorate your paper tubes.

Step 3

Arrange your tubes so they are side-by-side and glue them together to resemble binoculars. Let dry.

Step 4

Decorate and add a message to your binoculars with markers.

Step 5

ADULT: Punch a hole on the outside, top of each tube.

Step 6

Finally, cut a length of yarn that is about 24" [60 cm] and thread each end through a hole in the tubes. Tie a knot to create the strap.
