kids "hello fall" friendship bracelet stack
Step 1 |
First, click here to download the turkey design into Shrinky Dink® paper and print from your inkjet printer. |
Step 2 |
Cut around your turkey and include a tab shape at the top. |
Step 3 |
ADULT: Punch a hole in the tab shape at the top of your turkey. |
Step 4 |
ADULT: Follow the instructions included in the Shrinky Dink® paper to bake and shrink your turkey. Set aside to let cool. |
Step 5 |
To make the stretchy bracelets, cut a 10" [25.4 cm] of stretchy cord. |
Step 6 |
Add pony beads as desired onto the stretchy cord. |
Step 7 |
Tie the cord ends into a double knot and add a dab of glue. Let dry. |
Step 8 |
Pinch a Rainbow Loom® rubber band together and slide through the hole at the top of your turkey so it is even on both sides of the hole. Slide the loop in the back through the loop in the front, over the tab at the top of your turkey charm, and pull so the lark’s head knot you just made sits again the turkey charm and you have a tall loop standing above your charm. |
Step 9 |
Attach your charm to your bracelet using the same lark’s head knot technique from Step 8. Place the rubber band extending above the charm against the back of the bracelet, then thread the charm through the loop, around the bracelet and pull so the turkey is dangling from the bracelet.
