This project is intended for kids ages 4+.

Print Project

Step 1

First, click here to download and print the template; then cut out the shape.

Step 2

Lightly trace the popsicle onto watercolour paper.

Step 3

Dip your paintbrush in clean water and paint in the popsicle drawing with water only but leave the popsicle stick dry.

Step 4

Now, dip your brush into watercolour paint with a wet brush and pick up some paint, then dab it onto the wet popsicle drawing.
TIP: Watch as the water wicks the color around into the water.

Step 5

Repeat Step 4 until your popsicle is filled until you are happy with your artwork.

Step 6

Paint the popsicle stick and let it dry.
