To make changes to this project, use the mat preview screen to move pieces to different mats or colors. |
Step 3 |
Pre-cut fabric by hand to fit on mat. Please note the direction of the print for each fabric piece. |
Step 4 |
To cut mat 1, place light gray fabric right side down on to the mat. |
Step 5 |
To cut mat 2, place teal fabric right side down on to the mat. |
Step 6 |
With right sides together, pin the two bean-shape pieces together. |
Step 7 |
Sew with a ¼" [6 mm] seam around the edge of the bean pieces, leaving a 1"-2" [2.5 cm-5.1 cm] opening for turning in the middle straight area. |
Step 8 |
Clip all curves generously. |
Step 9 |
Using a chopstick (or other turning tool), turn the pieces right side out through the turning hole. Press all seams. |
Step 10 |
Top stitch the entire shape, making sure to close the turning hole as well. |
