into the garden spring cascading arrangement
Step 1 |
Cut floral foam to size that will fit into your container. Place it in the container. |
Step 2 |
Place a grid of floral tape over the top of the container to help hold the faux stems in place. |
Step 3 |
Cut floral stems and bushes to the length you desire when inserting into the floral foam. It's best to hold up the stem or bush to the container to measure and cut accordingly. Start by inserting the larger blooms in place first, like the peach peonies. Place a few close to the container opening and another higher to create the focal point. |
Step 4 |
To create the look of a garden-fresh arrangement it’s important to allow some of the blooms to hang and drape as a fresh floral stem would. Leave some stems longer and slightly bend them to curve and insert around the focal area. This works well with the pink tulips and yellow peony stems. |
Step 5 |
To finish the arrangement, place greenery in the open areas. Make sure to bend them so they look fresh and natural. Place some along the base of the container by simply cutting some shorter pieces and leaving others long to fill out the top. |
Step 6 |
Once finished take a photo and look at the arrangement as a whole to allow you to see areas that need tweaks. |
