Print Project

Step 1

First, click here to download and print the pattern.

Step 2

Place your fabric into a bamboo embroidery hoop and pull it taut. Leave some of the fabric hanging outside of the hoop.

Step 3

Transfer the design onto the fabric.
TIP: To transfer, go to a very lighted area and tape your fabric over the pattern illustrations and, using a water-soluble marking pencil (so the lines erase with a quick dab of water), trace over your pattern lines.

Step 4

Now, thread your embroidery needle with the floss color to match the pattern design and start stitching the pattern design you have marked on your fabric.

Step 5

Once you have finished stitching, trim the excess fabric around the outside the hoop, but leave about 1" in excess fabric.  

Step 6

Using a large running stitch, sew around the edge, gathering the fabric in on the backside. This will finish off your project, so it is ready to display.
TIP: To hang the finished hoop piece, add a piece of ribbon or fabric to the screw to act as a hanger.
