Not worth the money
It's a good concept, but when I break two in one evening, trying to punch a hole in a flimsy piece of copper, then it's absolutely not worth the money. Luckily, the staff is wonderful and even exchanged the first one, and exchanged the second one towards a much better hole punch.

Works well on bottle caps
Works well on bottle caps which is what I bought it for. It hangs up a bit and the screws have to tightened about every 10th cap.

Not good
When you try to hole punch a stamping blank, it sticks and when you try to separate the hole punch from the blank, it leaves a mark.

Better than I expected!
Designed to punch metal but I bought it to punch tiny holes for leather earrings. It's like butter. I love it.

This product is exactly what I was looking for!
I love to make jewelry and I also love music. So making guitar pick earrings is music to my ears. This punch easily makes perfect holes in the picks of different thicknesses. Also works on metal, which seems to be its intended purpose.

not strong enough for all metals
easy to use on soft metals. I originally bought it to put holes in coins and it isn't strong enough to do that but the thin jewelry blanks it works great on.

much easier than I thought
I thought it would be hard to punch, clean and easy. Takes practice to place though

Would not recommend
Does not but a hole through the metal. My husband couldn't even press it to make a hole through. Does work on paper!

Broke after 2nd use
Was excited to get a decent brand of punches, only to have them break after the 2nd use. Still searching for the right punch!

broke the day I bought it
This product claimed it could punch through 18 gauge metal, but when I used it on a piece of 14 gauge copper it broke. The actual black clamp part broke clean off. I had only used it once or twice and it broke even though I was using it properly, bought it brand new, and literally had just bought a few hours prior to it breaking. It worked alright before it broke, but I was disappointed that I got such little use out of it.
