Print Project

Step 1

Measure and cut four 12" [30.5 cm] lengths of transite cording. Set a side for a few minutes.

Step 2

Remove a five metal link section from the strand, but keep the five linked.

Step 3

Attach the metal section to the middle loop on a spacer bar with a jump ring.
TIP: To open and close a jump ring, simply grasp the jump ring on both sides with chain nose pliers and twist the ring open, from side-to-side. Never pull the jump ring which can cause distortion.

Step 4

Repeat Step 3 for the other end of the metal leaf section to the middle loop on a second spacer bar.

Step 5

Tie one end of each piece of transite cording to a loop on either side of the leaf strand on one of the spacer bars. Add a dab of glue to each knot.

Step 6

Slide beads onto cords as desired until you reach the same length as the leaf strand in the middle.

Step 7

Tie the other end of each cord to the coordinating loop on the second spacer bar. Add a dab of glue and let dry.
TIP: The beads strands should all be parallel to each other across the spacer bars.

Step 8

Add a magnetic clasp to the spacer bar ends with a jump ring.
