The bright tones and embroidery make this wall hanging perfect for a summer showstopper. Make it your own with embroidery and use it to host a summer party.

Print Project

Step 1

Click here for the design in Cricut® Design Space™.

Step 2

Place a piece of cardstock onto your cutting mat, select your material and load your mat into your Cricut® machine.

Step 3

Now, unload your mat and gently remove the cardstock. Remove any pieces left around or within the cutout and discard.

Step 4

Repeat Steps 2-3 for your remaining layers. Set aside.

Step 5

Paint your wood plaque and let dry. Repeat for additional coats as needed for coverage.
TIP: Be sure to let paint dry between coats. For better coverage, try painting a basecoat of white first.

Step 6

Lightly hand write the name (or message) on your paper flower where you want to embroider.
TIP: If desired, allow your Cricut® machine to draw the name (or message) onto the flower with a Cricut® fine pen.

Step 7

Thread floss on your needle and embroider over your handwritten name (or message).
TIP: Apply some clear tape on the back your paper flower where you want to embroider to add strength to the paper to prevent ripping. As you embroider you may need to add more tape.

Step 8

Finally, assemble your plaque. Add your layers from bottom up and glue to the plaque.

Instructions
Step 1

Click here for the design in Cricut® Design Space™.

Step 2

Place a piece of cardstock onto your cutting mat, select your material and load your mat into your Cricut® machine.

Step 3

Now, unload your mat and gently remove the cardstock. Remove any pieces left around or within the cutout and discard.

Step 4

Repeat Steps 2-3 for your remaining layers. Set aside.

Step 5

Paint your wood plaque and let dry. Repeat for additional coats as needed for coverage.
