hello summer ribbon wreath
Step 1 |
Pre-cut pink chenille pipe cleaner in half for ease while working with the mesh and ribbons. |
Step 2 |
Working with one hot pink mesh roll at a time, attach it to the wire form using chenille pipe cleaners. Twist a chenille pipe cleaner around the end of the mesh and attach to the outside of the wire form. Add another chenille pipe cleaner around the next section of mesh about 16"-18" [40.6 cm - 45.7 cm] along, making a poof. Now twist this section to the wire form where the wire sections are divided. Continue to bunch, poof and attach the mesh to the wire form working around the outside of the wreath and towards the middle. Continue the same process with a second roll. |
Step 3 |
Cut pieces of yellow mesh that are 12" [30.5 cm] long. Attach a chenille pipe cleaner in the middle and then around the wreath form. This will give the wreath a full whimsy look. Spread these evenly around the wreath. |
Step 4 |
Mix ribbons in and around the wreath. Start by adding a roll of ribbon with the same technique as the roll of mesh. Next add two more patterns of ribbon by cutting sections and twisting in the middle like the accent mesh. Twist these around the wreath. |
Step 5 |
To determine if you like the overall look of the wreath, take a photo and look to see where you need to add more ribbons or make adjustments. |
Step 6 |
When you like the wreaths design, add a greeting to the middle. Use floral wire to attach it to the wreath form. |
