hanging floral ball
Making a hanging floral ball is a beautiful way to add floral over a table or buffet.
Step 1 |
Making a hanging floral ball is a beautiful way to add floral over a table or buffet. Step 1 Cut a piece of ribbon to use as the hanger. The length is determined by the height of the area it will hang. Tie a knot on one end. Push a hole into the Styrofoam® ball and push the knotted ribbon with hot glue into the hole. Let the hot glue cool before picking it up with the ribbon. Step 2 Cut the stems off of floral bushes. Now, push the greenery and floral to the top of the stem with your fingers. Next, cut the stems about 3" shorter. Step 3 Divide up the floral and greenery into two piles and plan where to place the floral around your foam ball. TIP: The goal is to keep the floral evenly spread out and fill in with greenery. Step 4 Push the floral pieces into the Styrofoam® ball with a dab of hot glue on the end. Continue to add the floral pieces all around the ball. Step 5 Finally, add greenery to fill in any gaps. Share your project photos with #MadeWithMichaels |
