This bat has the perfect glow to accent any Halloween decorations. Have fun with paint and glitter to add expressions and personalisation.

Print Project

Step 1

Paint a coat of matte black paint over the outside of the ceramic bat. Let completely dry and add a second coat.

Step 2

Paint the stomach of the bat purple and the base of the statue Gold. Each will need multiple coats.

Step 3

Paint the inside of the bat’s face and accent the feet, hands and hat with Silver Gray paint. Let dry.

Step 4

Add details to the face with black and white paint. Let dry.

Step 5

To give a sparkle to your bat, add Mod Podge® and sprinkle on purple glitter to the stomach area and black glitter to the hat. Shake off excess and let dry.

Step 6

Turn on the light and let your project glow at night.
