Taklon is versatile.
I used to manufacture cosmetic brushes made of taklon. Initially it was to take an anti cruelty position vs. using goat hair. But taklon applies paint evenly, holds its shape and cleans well.

Big bang for the $$
I arrived in Florida, broke out my paints and brushes to get busy on a few commissions, only to find I had left every one of my filberts in Texas! Filberts are my go-to brushes and I just can't be all artsy without at least one. So, off to Michaels I went to grab one (or two). I've not used this brand before and I have to say, I am impressed with the amount of paint it loads, the smoothness of the line, the precision of the bristles, and the balance in my hand. Lovely to work with! These will be my daily use brushes from here on out.

Fantastic acrylic brush
These are my favorite brushes for acrylic painting! They are a good value for the cost, and they last a pretty long time when used properly. This one is a great size for the stuff I do, particularly 8x10” and 8x8” pieces. I’d definitely recommend this brush!

Wonderful Brushes!
These brushes are excellent!! I have several different sizes of the filbert brushes and LOVE them! I paint oil portraits and use these brushes constantly, but I also find them to be excellent for landscapes, still life....well, really just about anything you would like to paint. The number 2 filbert is perfect for doing detail work around the eyes and teeth. I won't even touch another brush now.
