Golden, who proves to by my favorite brand has proven this feeling to me countless times. Their Heavy Body Acrylics have a range of translucent, transparent and opaque colors that have the purist pigment. These pigments make it accessible to layer on top of one another in such an incredible way-- add a little bit of Golden mediums and it's even more fun to create. I highly recommend this product to any artist wishing to explore new color discoveries. This brand will not disappoint.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from golden is great but what happened? I love Golden usually but the particular tube I picked up was weird? It was an acrylic and transparent which is fine, thats how it was packaged and what I expected, but it had a completely different texture from any acrylic I've ever used? It wouldn't spread evenly and was almost oily? Not sure if there's like a statistical possibility for that sort of issue but yeah. I ended up going back for the same pigment in a Liquitex instead, which ended up working much better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Juts discovered Golden and I'm hooked I've use Grumbacher paints for years. And they are a good brand. But recently I tried Golden. Although a bit more expensive, it's worth it. The opacity of the teal was especially great. If you're into acrylics, try Golden. You won't regret it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Excellent Paint! Don't be put off by the price. The Golden brand of paints are artist quality and you won't be disappointed. Because they are highly pigmented, a little goes a long way. A small tube (2 oz) will last a long time, due to the overall coverage you'll achieve. They mix well with other colors and maintain brush strokes. They can be mixed with other mediums like a glaze or gloss and won't lose pigments. Excellent buy with a Michael's coupon!

I found when I mixed it with raw sienna that I could achieve a Payne's gray that gave the hues I wanted. As also when I applied titanium white I was to the different hues of opaqueness that I desired.. Because of the quality I had a longer use of the paint itself without losing the quality
